Welcome to our Sexual Health service

Brighton & Hove Sexual Health & Contraception Service (SHAC) is free, confidential & open to everyone.

We have a specialist clinic, Clinic M  for any men who have sex with men, every Wednesday evening between 17:00 and 20:00 with booked appointments and a limited number of walk-in slots.

We offer screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, vaccinations (HPV, Hepatitis A, or Hepatitis B), PEP,  PrEP and are here to help with any questions about your sexual health.

Testing

There are lots of ways that you can get tested, but if you have any symptoms come and see us in the clinic, we may be able to give a diagnosis and treatment straight away rather than waiting for your test results to come back. You can either attend one of our walk-in and wait clinics, or call us on 01273 523 388 to arrange an appointment.

If you don’t have symptoms but would like to test you can get a kit from one of our vending machines, or create an online account with us and have a testing kit delivered to your home that you return to us in the post.
